Oh, I hope not. For Jyrras' sake, I really hope not. Then again, Aaryana is still alive... so maybe Abel doesn't kill his dates. Or whatever relationship they had (I still hold to the theory that Abel might be bi).

As for Lorenda, very sweet and yes the winglings are adorable.

Her expectations are too high. That's what made her lose Jyrras. But then again...

As for losing Jyrras... I can see not only the physical aspect (though she didn't even consider eating him, so that's a good thing), but also the fast the Jy seemed to be somewhat in denial about his sexuality and might have felt that he needed a relationship with Lorenda. Though this might be looking a little too deeply (I doubt Lorenda is psychic), and I don't think Lorenda could have known that. So, it might be the physical aspect. Maybe Lorenda would have just felt really uncomfortable dating Jyrras, given how he looks: we know she would have felt like she was dating a child. It could just be the "squick" factor of such a relationship that disturbs her. I don't know. I'm trying to maintain neutrality in the face of my Abel/Jyrras pairing.

EDIT: One question: where is she getting those vegetables? The Lost Lake Inn's veggie patch?

Squick is basically something that somewhat disgusts or repulses you. For Lorenda, it would be squicky of her to get involved in a relationship with Jyrras, because she would feel like she was dating a child, despite knowing that he's an adult. Does that kind of make sense?

How about people just stop using it at all? Ugh. I swear I have heard that quote probably seven dozen more times than I have ever wanted to. It's not witty. It's not unique...its a retarded and annoying catchphrase that should have died out back in 2001 when people thought THEN it was witty and unique...but for some reason it seems to exist still.
