Well, I was promising to draw her without her dress, and I did it! Major Kusanagi from the "Ghost in the Shell" was not wearing much more than that on many occasions, and managed to get away with it.

I cleaned it up digitally, carefully erasing all additional lines and the smudges from the eraser.

It took me rather long (feels like it took longer than actually drawing the picture), but the process itself is quite simple and seems to be totally worth it.

Well, it's certainly colorful.  I looks great Ren.  Love the way you did the eyes particularly.  The faint shadows on the top of the wings seem a bit odd to me, but I'm no great authority on shading and don't have much of an eye for it.

Um, we actually considered three color schemes for the wings, but we quickly dropped one of them and then focused on the last two before we chose this one. The one we dropped was blue, green, and yellow, and the alternate scheme was blue, purple, and red. We went with this one because it was the most colorful, and the reason we drew this is as a response to Simeon's slightly bland colors.

For those who are curious, here's the alternate color scheme for Jay.
