We went with this one because it was the most colorful, and the reason we drew this is as a response to Simeon's slightly bland colors.

The firey colours are actually similar to 'Cubi-Josh's wings, though I cheaped out there and used a gradient.

For those who are curious, here's the alternate color scheme for Jay.

I like it, though I seem to have very little taste when it comes to colours

I do see another glitch in the picture - the shadow down the left side (his right) of his vest thing doesn't reflect the surface contour.  People talk about having a flat belly, but he's taking it a little too far

Jay and I want to mention that Cubi!Jay is not in any way a canon SoG'verse characters, since there are no Cubi in SoG'verse. Besides, Jay cannot be a Cubi, since he is already a- *gets jumped by the GRU for attempting to reveal a secret of Jay's true nature*

And for the record, I wouldn't mind being a Cubi. The shapeshifting is awesome, and given how my character looks I'd probably be a Cubi that fed on optimism or joy or something like that. However, the pic is still not canon to the SoGverse or my own fursona. Oh well.

I've said this before, but it's the lifespan and lack of need to eat/sleep that I find most appealing.  Though shapeshifting does offer some very interesting possibilities (e.g.  Snell, who picks locks by morphing his wing-tentacles)

Oh, those are good too. I'd still eat, though. But for some reason, I don't think it would be wise to trust me with shapeshifting. That, and as I told Ren, with my luck I'd get my Cubi marking in the same place that Ink does.
