I'm kind of bummed that Darkmoon has a The Cure trapper keeper and I don't. Life is so unfair.

Damaris

Feb 28, 2010

Damaris wishes that Darkmoon would get rid of his Cure trapper keeper.  The blood smears are starting to smell pretty bad.

GabrielsThoughts

For this week I read about the late renaissance, it was interesting to see that Michelangelo and titian were still considered important figures, and how their works became more uniquely stylized.  I completed an art review assignment and two quizzes for my art class. I read about Diego Velasquez, as well as several critiques for his "las meninas" which is arguably the best painting of all time according to critics. In my oral history class we had two guest seekers a socialist and a professional oral historian from UNLV. I re read chapter five of media gender and identity as well as a PowerPoint on late modernity for my vis 363 class. then I scratched my head in confusion, trying to figure out what else I was supposed to do this week.

I'm still planning on starting my own business, but I don't know what it will be yet. In theory, there are work from home organizations that I can participate in that are profitable but I'm not sure I want to work for someone else from my home, nor am I sure i want my home to be a call center for some telemarketing firm.I've found hulu to be absolutely fascinating. I can watch any show I'm interested in at anytime and the commercials are not as frequent or annoying as they are on television. On the DVD front, this week I watched the United States of Tara. I re-read two chapters from Janson's history of art. I also learned I could buy a wallet with the words "bad mother fucker" reminiscent of Pulp Fiction.

this is fun actually...

Zina thinks she's important enough that people on the internet would care about her otherwise boring life.

That's impossible!  He's important on the interwebz!  How could you possibly mock him for posting his awesome and relevant life that all of us wish to know about!?  He's like, and internet superstar, or something!

Darkmoon

Oh, see, I lack the ability to care about other people's crappy lives.

I dunno, some of them are pretty good fodder for mockery.  Heck, even the fact that the person writing about it thinks that someone might care is pretty 'lulzworthy'.

Also:  On an actually useful note, for folks looking for rss from the forum, there's a nice post here that will give you some help with rss on SMF, if it's been enabled by the admins.

Turnsky

i know it's not generally in line with the rules, but to do it otherwise, wouldn't be as effective.

That's for the news posts only, not the rest of the forum. And it's enabled, and has been for a long time.

Quite why _you_ can't see it, I'm not sure. I can't get it to _not_ show up...

Uh, no, you can use that to get recent posts as well.  Just need to go with the section concerning which boards to specify.  I've already done it for the main forum, and it gives me a list of recent posts.

I'm not an admin, though.

Damaris and Boots are admins. I'm just mod-level access (since I mostly don't need that. Heck, most of the time, I could get away with being a standard user, but it's easier if people accept that I'm a mod if I have the pretty stars... or the post count...)

I don't see an RSS button, but I can access the RSS feed anyways by hand coding the request string.  I just wish I could do that with individual threads instead of whole boards.

You're a few months behind. ;-]

There was a party? Aw, llearch, why didn't you tell me? I would have brought you a cake.

Sorry for not finding you a more masculine cake, llearch. The kid I stole this from had no taste.

llearch n'n'daCorna

s'ok, Keats. I wasn't invited to the party either.
