Going 50 Km/h rounding a corner on my motorcycle, hit a patch of loose gravel/sand in a small pot hole.. front jerked the wrong way, bike leaned too far into the turn... I was drug across the pavement until I hit the curb on the other side and was then left there by three passing by cars.  The 4th and 5th people by stopped and helped me though.

Ouch.  My dad had something like that happen, except that his pants got caught in the chain as well.  Cut him up pretty bad.

Yet another reason to love a shaft driven bike.  Oh.. engine guards are your friend.. that's the reason I'm able to walk right now.. they stopped my leg from being trapped between the bike and the pavement.

Well, this happened back when he was in his twenties.  So it was a while ago.
