So Abel is an actual willing agent of Fa'lina?

Just because Abel doesn't want to do it doesn't mean that he doesn't think that it should be done.  Conversely, just because he's reporting in doesn't mean that he thinks it's a good idea.  This may be something that Fa'Lina will inevitably find out about, and it's better to make it look like you're cooperating.

As for why they didn't know about Dan or his future, there's only one possibility: Dan is the Kwisatz Haderach!  The `cubi have discovered a nexus that they cannot penetrate, and they are trying to see this nexus.

This means, of course, that Fa'Lina is Reverend Mother Mohiam, Fi is a guild navigator... I'll stop now.  Well, one more: Abel is Yueh, and he'll start screaming ``The Tooooooth!''

Somebody should do a furry version of Dune.  There's already a Disney version.

I saw the original movie very cool and I read several of the books also cool. I just wish they put on the screen get Peter Jackson I bet he will do it a thousand times better and get more Oscars to boot.

Maybe this has something to do with Pyroduck -- it's not a Dragon/Cubi thing, so much as a Dragon/Dan's clan thing, and the other Cubi concerned about Dan's safety more than general anti-Dragon Cubi sentiment.
