Worgens, OMG! It almost is enough to make me want to reup.

Now, if WoW introduced cat people (they would, of course, be horde. :P And probably mortal enemies of the Worgen.)

Or, if they made it so I could change my main (who is a human warrior) into a Worgen...

uhh.....what?

New expansion. Humans cursed to turn into Worgans are playable. They can be Druids.

That... would be what we're referring to.
The streets running gray bit for me, and the general expansion for Turn.

I'm going to have to go with the "sheer awesomeness" factor.

You don't have to act rude, you know. :/  I too actually find the prospect of playing WoW's version of a werewolf a pretty awesome thing.

That said, I saw the trailer just today for the new expansion...and wow.  It's like much of the world's gotten a whole big overhaul, if not the whole world.  Can't wait to check it out.  :3  And see how many of the ton of quests my characters already have to accomplish will change. xP

I'm sorry, I didn't mean to be rude. I've just never played WoW (or any warcraft game, and probably never will), and I know virtually nothing about the setting itself, so I don't understand what all the hubbub is about.

Look at it this way - the WOWCrack Addicts just got a sweet new toy. ;-]

Don't get between them and the toy, and you'll be fine. *grin*

Worgen, goblins- who cares?! I WANT TO SEE DEATHWING AND RUN HIS RUSTY NOSE IN THE GROUND FOR WHAT HE DID TO ALEXSTRASZA! THAT BASTARD WILL BURN IN HIS OWN FIRE BY THE TME I'M THROUGH WITH HIM!
And that concludes my nerd-fit!

Imagine it's another novel released in a series you really like with a lot of changes from a near apocolytpic event that forever changes the lay of the land and what people must do to survive.

Now we'll need some vampires...maybe an undead shadowpriest?  I mean heck.. just /cast power word: shield and you've got the sparklies if you want 'em. :P   Warlocks are also a potential candidate for that I suppose.

mirr

i play a warlock right now. one thing i didn't like about the announcement is i found it a little one sided. lol ally gets werewolves, horde gets goblins. riiiight.... though i suppose they needed to throw in a midget race for the evil doers somewhere in there, since ally has their creepy gnomes.

personally i want to see the nagas as playable.

A bit unlikely- you can't exactly picture pants and boots on them. My wish was towards the satyrs.

Kenji

We'll give you werewolves only if we get Keepers of the Grove.
