Spanky is banned because Jairus is correct.  But they don't change on exposure to sunlight.  It's UV rays.  So if you're in a car, they won't change.

VSMIT is banned because that sounds pretty cool, actually. I'll have to consider it for my next pair.

Jay is banned because transitions are good even for just sunglasses in some situations too, like bicycle glasses, some companies make ones that grow lighter in shade in lower UV, and darker Red, or Orange Yellow depending on if you're a road biker or a mountain biker.

Jer's banned because my normal sunglasses work just fine.

Jairus is banned for glasses are never ordinary, they can turn you into Neo or Sir Elton John depending on what they are!

Kipiru is banned because I'd prefer to be turned into Sir Elton John. He's much cooler than Neo.

Nii-san is banned because I was more thinking Eltonman, with the power to assume the form of an alien hero for three minutes and grow to giant sizes and run and fly at tremendous speeds and fire the all-powerful Eltonium Ray...

Kipiru is banned because Sir Elton John is obviously Eltonman's mild-mannered secret identity. Therefore, Sir Elton John has no powers.
