i'm not even sure i want to know what elmo's world is but i'm guessing that this is going to be a slice of life mini with most of the characters being shown in there holiday spirit.

I would imagine all artist such as Ms. Williams enjoys being able to "step out of character" for a little non-canon diversion and fun. So far this has the makings of a fun little side trip.

I mentioned last week that I had plans to do a short little holiday story since I never get the chance to normally. So yeah. I'm doing it. Its only 6 pages long so not counting Abel's Story (which will be updating on Mondays like normal), this small snippet of seasonal whimsy will be going for about two weeks before we return to regularly scheduled DMFA.

So. Not counting Abel's Story, it probably won't count Abel's Story. And it probably won't take Abel's Story's place, because she's NOT COUNTING ABEL'S STORY.

I don't know about a robot Santa but there are a number of classic approaches to Christmas episodes.

Christmas Carol pastiche with various DMFA characters serving the roles of the ghosts.  Just imagine Wildy as any of them.

It's a Wonderful Life pastiche

The Grinch pastiche

Various versions where Santa Claus and/or Christmas is endangered and must be rescued:  The Hogfather, Santa Claus versus the Martians, The Nightmare Before Christmas, etc.

As for KISS saves Christmas, that is why I included the "etc.".  Otherwise, I would have been going forever.

'The Powerpuff Girls saved Christmas on one episode.  Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer and Olive the Other Reindeer both involved saving Christmas.

What I'd really like to see is Oscar the Grouch saves Christmas.

Why not?  I learned that as a kid from other kids.  So even if you don't teach it to them, they'll hear it from other kids.
