As for Brun, I looked up the word officianato in every online dictionary I know of, even the urban one, and couldn't find it. Then I searched for it on Google and it hit me that if I went by how it sounded rather than how it was spelt it actually meant sense. So I've learnt something.

and yes, thats the word i meant. My vocabulary may be large but my hands are sacks of walnuts (see 'worst pain' thread for details) and my spell check seems to have problems with random words- such as 'okay', 'hemroid ', 'haggis',  and 'mercenary'.

Of course, Ankh-Morpork's citizens had always claimed that the river water was incredibly pure. Any water that had passed through so many kidneys, they reasoned, had to be very pure indeed.
