What would Yak say if he saw this Niall beheaded? Like "wow how did you behead an android" but mixed with an inarticulate roar of rage and then there'd be some murder.

Considering that Fendrick was still alive after his head came off, I think Niall will be able to come out of that no worse for wear. As for Yak(ovlev), he seems to even-headed most of the time and only lost his s*** once during his entire screen-time. Having your son receive an injury that seems fatal on a gut level but you know full well isn't is nowhere near as rage-inducing as being betrayed by someone who has been a very close friend for the past millenium or so. He might snicker for a bit inside but then move on to fix the problem before it gets worse. No hurry though, computers aren't known for needing a constant power input to maintain data storage, unlike their more meaty counterparts.

I guess it would be similar to beheaded Hannah or beheaded Sherri then.

I expect if flamethrowers exist, Matilda would be tempted to install one into her shower.

Tapewolf

It was cut from the comic, but there's a supercap in the head for emergency power.  Unconscious, it would keep him alive a couple of days, or a couple of hours fully aware.

I get the feeling that attempting to behead an android - without being aware it's an android, and hence using a lot more force - is likely to fail. Amusingly, at least for the android in question.

Plus the aforementioned lack of effect when the body fails to die afterwards.

Hrm. I wonder if someone considered putting in a short-distance wifi link between head and body, so the body can continue to pick the head up and scarper when the two are disconnected...
