Ah, I suppose I can also say that the colour for the dune itself feels off to me.  Feels almost too... muddy?  I dunno.  I'll chalk it up to me expecting a desert sand dune. X3
Huh, I don't really think it's a desert dune, due to the reed-like plants on the picture, not too mention all the clouds wouldn't fit into a desert (unless it's spring)

Still say that dune needs more sandworms.
And even more sci-fi!

Note the part where I said I was expecting one.  I didn't say it was one, or was intended to be one, merely that I was expecting one.  When I think of a 'dune' I admittedly always think of a *sand* dune.

So, do you have any critiques on his art to add? ;-)

Too much brown! (I don't like brown unless it's steampunk)
But I really like the sky too, and the ?reeds? are very well made. Also is it just me or is there a tornado in the sky :S

Somehow I see a starving, old wolf wandering around in the wilderness there...
Sad, but very well made, one of your best works.

I figure he was a wolf or something before he spent 500 years sat in a cave eating fish...

To be fair, I'd imagine starving when you know how to fish, and have proper equipment/location is very difficult, as fish are very filling (and tasty  >:3 )

Rock and pool is nice and cool,
So juicy, sweeeeeet!
Oh how I wish, to eat a fish
So juicy, sweeeeeet!

Oddly enough, I had a very similar thought when I first saw/commented on this picture on other sites.

Gollum:  The furry edition.

It gives me a rather sad feeling of little to eat and little to do, with nothing really being around.

I'm not sure, but from how this is drawn, I'd say he was under water. The lack of more fish gives a rather bleak look to the environment. He's starving and all he was able to see and catch was on fish. Not good for him, not good.

Still nice picture Nyil.

While what she's wearing does look quite nice.

I find the things she's doing with the fire just as interesting. It looks like she might be using blood magic to invoke the element of fire. The blood being dropped from an unseen cut in her hand.

Very nice.

A bit too skimpy for my liking, but as always, your art looks great!

Is it littering if the offending object is consumed before it hits the ground? :B

I do like the flaming spiral, nice touch to an already great pic. :3

OOh nice!
I really love the backround, the entire picture gives me a feeling of a celebration of the moon.

I've still got the plague, but rather than sit back and expire, I'm just going to keep working on stuff. This was a quick little sketchy speedpaint doodle thing to practice setting scenes for limited color palettes (since I did some pretty wide palettes for my past few submissions)

Man, how do you work so fast, especially when sick!? And always so good too!

Though, I do feel sorry for the guy in the pic.

I usually just sacrifice the souls of my viewer(s) to the Dark Lord I pray to in exchange for drawings, which I then begin to color. This allows me to bypass the lineart stage completely and proceed directly to coloring and shading!

Ahh, that explains a lot. I think I gave my sacrifice to the wrong demon. At least they delivered their pizza in under thirty seconds.

A speed painting? Dang, I couldn't do that in a week.

Wasn't expecting a human, but it's still good!

Digital painting is a lot more flexible than most other styles, once you start getting the hang of it!

I actually enjoy drawing humans a lot, but it seems a lot of the people who look at my art aren't into that kind of stuff xD it's a shame, really.

I would like to try that more... When the computer can manage to stay on longer than half an hour. :B

I actually tend to draw furs only half the time. The other half is usually humans, elves, and the like. I just wasn't expecting human here was all. ;3

Just a little birthday something for Faerie Alex. I swear to god, too many people got down on August, because I have way too many birthday gifts to draw this month ~_~

Ya, I noticed there aren't a lot of October babies like myself. Some months are definately bigger than others.

I hope he likes his pic though!

What's up, Drath, feeling a twinge of jealousy over his pretty clothes? Don't worry, I've got one here for you, too. With an extra low cut shirt, for your wings.
