In Brightest Day. In Blackest Night...

Jairus

"Hey, Booboo, looks like we got ourselves a biga-time movie here!"
"You said it, Yogi."
"Do-ya think that it might be a terrible one, Booboo-buddy?"
"I dunno, Yogi, do you steal picnic baskets?"
"Oh. Uh-oh."
I can actually do a pretty good Yogi and Booboo voice.

As for why I'm being so cynical... come on. It's Yogi Bear. And it's another live-action adaptation of an old cartoon, like the Smurfs. This... this just won't end well.

literally every piece of promotional material released on this film is terrifying, and i mean that in the legitimate sense

Kafzeil

The poster is actually hilarious, though for reasons the makers never intended.

Of course, I got a dirty mind. >:3

BooBoo looks a little too happy.  For that matter, so does Yogi.  *Brrrrrrr*
"TEETH!  TEETH!  He's a biter!!!"
Go get'em, Jy!

Pancakes.  The evilest food thing since THOSE brownies.  You know the ones.

Currently a complete non-fan of Mab.  Say what you will, I will forever consider her the Big Bad >.>

And quite a bit taller too. Makes me wonder what exactly Yogi is really referring to when he talks about "picanic baskets."

Great... They're raping another one of my childhood memories... *Sigh.* I sure hope my kids don't have to endure this shit when they get to be my age... (Assuming I ever HAVE kids...)

i see this and think "yet another goddamn 3D movie abusing CGI"  :B

it's movies like this that make me appreciate Anime; Hayao Miyazaki in particular, more.

Dragons, it's what's for dinner... with gravy and potatoes, YUM!
Sparta? no, you should've taken that right at albuquerque..

I'm a little concerned about how dilated their pupils are.  What are they on?

It terrifies me that Justin Timberlake has the perfect voice for Boo-Boo. D:

You people are weak D:<

Did you not grow up through the 80's where all sorts of terrible and awful shows and movies happened? >:P
Help! I'm gay!

Oh look, another in the long line of resurrected cartoons to 3D movies in a vain attempt to garner cash through past audiences who have since grown up and fondly remember their terrible cartoons of youth and will bring their children in the hopes they can bond; only to waste money, time. And respect when their kid sees how fucking bad it is and wonders what the hell is up with their parents. Leading to a life long depression spiral.

This is almost as annoying as that goddamned Cats and Dogs film. We don't need a sequel to an unmemorable film 10 years later.

If you follow the internal "logic" of the toons, probably whatever people are putting in picnic baskets.
Someday, when we look back on this, we'll both laugh nervously and change the subject. More is good. All is better.

How's your Ed Norton impression, then?  Hopefully better than Mike Epps'.

This one has a Double whamy since I'm sure the kiddies grand parents remember the Yogi bear Christmas specials on the TV.   :mowignore sadly, this also means hollywood still isn't accepting cartoon ideas from anyone living or born since 1960.

Must... resist... JOKES!

The jokes with that tagline are way too obvious.
I bet someone intended it that way, but that the joke went over the heads of those in charge. Anyone who ever worked with management knows how stupid these people can be.

Somewhere out there is a peeon who goes like this :  :mwaha  every time he sees that poster...

I saw a movie poster for this today. Significantly less creepy. Still doesn't make it look any better. Horrifying in fact. Why Dan Aykroyd, why?

Because it is still cheaper to recycle old sotries because we all are already familiar with these characters. If you don't want to promote these kind of movies don't go to see them.
