While I was looking at his expression, it dawned on me that the ultimate thing for Amber to do to screw with all the people wondering about Abel's sexuality is to make him asexual.

Even if he isn't asexual- he's definitely a person for whom relationships and attraction isn't a big deal and who, as has been said, thinks with his head before his hormones.

While I agree that he's probably seen things Gen hasn't dreamed of, he can't read her thoughts because she's got some kind of mind shield.  That can't be of the mental exercises variety because she's sloshed, so I imagine it's some kind of spell.

Really now, does it really?
A. She's sloshed out of her gourd,
B. She had no issue with wippin' out the "girls" for anyone to see,
3. And as Abel mentioned, "The large amounts of crazy they are attached to!"

These kinda things would turn off most people looking for something in the neighborhood of serious, not some easy one night stand.

To be honest, A and 3 would turn me off even for a one-night stand. Especially A.

Not just the moral considerations either; there is just something not sexy about a drunk woman - especially that level of drunk.

in both examples, he's be legitimately distracted by something. With Falina (excuse my horrible spelling) he had just had his life basically flipped upside down, and the only cubi he had as a character reference was his father (not to mention the general view of cubis to begin with) His train of thought was derailed by the fact that she wasn't actively trying to mess him up.

Gen on the other hand is drunk, and crazy. Neither of which lend itself to attracting men (or women).
