To be blunt, I really don't care about Mink's gender. That is to say, I don't currently care. But until either Amber or the comic clarifies whether Mink is a he or a she, I'm going to call Mink "it."

Long answer short: after watching Tieria Erde and his siblings at work in Gundam 00, I am wary of identifying by gender any borderline case like Mink's.

It was Marluxia that did it to me. And I learned NOTHING.

The worst part about that? Apparently, Marluxia originally was a girl. Explains a few things, doesn't it?

Just to clarify, I mean the concept of Marluxia. Marluxia was female in the original concept for Chain of Memories. The character himself didn't have a sex change or anything like that. Just wanted to make that clear.

You could always mix it up a bit with other gender-neutral pronouns. Why not zie? Or thon! They're a lot more fun.

That's very true. I also thought he was a woman till I saw him in 3D and i was like "Wait... That's a guy O_o"

Maybe a peanut butter and pickle sandwich? Mom and Grandma frequently have that for lunch. But actually, it looks too leafy to me to be pickles, maybe lettuce or spinach.

Is Mink gonna turn out to be like Varsuuvius where you keep not telling us what the hell it is? Seriously, I'm really confused here.

Of course, it's species could be hermaphroditic...

Please don't bring up old grudges into new places. While no one here expects everyone to get along with everyone else, we do ask of people not to constantly hound or bring up past incidents for no reason whatsoever to the conversation. 

A post like that does nothing but try to bailt Valynth into responding.

Besides which, purple and yellow shouldn't go together: mix those two colors, you get brown. They don't complement each other, they just clash. Red and purple or blue and purple would do nicely, as would green and yellow or orange and yellow. And for that matter, red and green clash too, but I'll let it slide because of Christmas. All I'm saying is that you don't need colors to clash to get colorful.

Those are sports, they're allowed to look stupid. Besides, in my mind this is just a rule of thumb. You can subvert it, if you can pull it off. And Simeon... couldn't.

But I agree. Purple should either go with something dark, or with more purple. Thankfully, in his finished version the only colours that seem to clash are on his wings.

Waah? Purple and gold (which is basically a kind of yellow) are the traditional colours of royalty. Roman emperors spent centuries perfecting that look.

Heck... my avatar is all black, purple, and gold. Just like this mow: Don't the colours complement each other nicely?

That wasn't supposed to be yellow, it was supposed to be brass, but I didn't have the usual colour I use for that to hand.  We went with silver armour in the end anyway.
