Cute, but he was actually pretty severely injured: he was on a stretcher when they removed him in the pre-game cinematic for FF7:DoC, and while the wheelchair is needed because of how weak the Geostigma has left him, I imagine that there was still quite a bit of Cure3 Materia used to heal him.
