This shadow corrupts your soul so thoroughly that it makes all the wish corruptions in this thread look like child's play. You end up being slain some time later by a trio of very angry Caretakers.

Granted.  They are all bosses from completely unrelated games that are no fun at all to fight.  Actually, no.  The final boss has the potential to be a lot of fun, being modeled after a variety of extremely unpleasant, power-corrupted workplace bosses from real life.  Unfortunately, nobody can ever reach this stage, because the boss immediately before it (and very few even have the devotion to get that far) is the Grinning Colossus, who as we all know cannot be harmed by your weapons.  And you don't have a chandelier.

Granted, you now have an island fortress on the Johnston Atoll. However, it's still US property, and having an island fortress is worth a lot, apparently, so you are taxed for an insane amount of money. Then, given the nature of island fortresses, the CIA sends one Janus Bond to your humble abode...   


I wish I had a secret underground fortress beneath my house accessible via my closet.
