Sort of, but it relates to the reality of almost actually passing beyond this mortal coil.

Because they believe in quantity over quality and always want what makes others happy in an effort to make themselves happy.

That depends. If that getting what you desire means saving those you care for, and everything you have is your own self and some possessions, then sure.
