Because someone is making too much money on it. Which is an odd catch 22 because then rap will disappear when it doesnt make money anymore, much like disco.

why is alpha spelled alpha and not alfa?

Life is short is a common saying but what is compared to life in this saying?

(I mean lot's of creatures life shorter lives.)

Do you consider being organic a flaw?

Is our technology advancing at this rate because of our 'short' lived lives?

No, it serves its purpose, and so far the alternatives don't offer any good enough advantages.

There are many factors that contribute to the rate technology is being developed. Not the least of them is the desire to make the lives of other people shorter. Sad, but true. Anyway, different people have different drivers, but technology will continue to be produced as long as someone has the means and a purpose for it.

I don't think Mars has ever had the conditions to sustain multicellular life since its creation, but who knows? We may be missing something important.
