Nice faces, and nice music too. But how does it override all other music?

Well, originally it was a bug. Boss themes were supposed to have higher priority than your characters' themes, but Elzam's theme always had an even higher priority, which caused it to play whenever he was in action. Afterwards the developers decided to make it a feature - a sort of an in-joke.

This is Pillar of January, one of the twelve battlecruisers of the Furies. They are used by the Furies as their mobile bases that allow them to rapidly react to threats in any part of the Federation of United Terran Stars. A little over one kilometre long, Pillar of January carries weapons suited both for ship-to-ship combat and planetary bombardment, and a force of one hundred Furies and four hundred soldiers with ground vehicles and landing crafts to get them to the surface of a planet. The ship is also equipped with an individual hyperdrive and advanced navigation system that allows it to be independent from hyperspace beacons. All in all it is one of the most powerful and advanced warships within the human space and its proximity.
..And yes, I did name it in tribute to Pillar of Autumn from Halo.

Ooh, cool. The yellow "pin-striping" looks sweet. And by sweet I mean awesome. The design is cool too. There's plenty detail, and not much greeble.

Some of the antenna look  awkward, though.

Yes, all of the Pillars are named after Terran months.

Especially when they have to build a 13th one.

Furies have more than twelve ships. But they have only twelve Pillars. No less, no more.

Though with her entire outfit, fur and wings.....it's a little monochromatic and matching for me. I will admit it took me a minute to notice her tail, it almost blends into the crate a little, good thing it had a black tip!
