Now there was an old arcade game I used to love.

It was a side scrolling, shooter.  Usualy the cabinet would have 3 angled screens configured like this \_/  with space in front of each for one player.

You could choose between 3 differnt characters to play a male, a female, and an yellow-orange alien with antenna

The plot as far as I can remember it involved you moving from room to room in a space station, or space ship shooting aliens.  the game had copous amounts of green slime splashed on back grounds

It was called Alien something

Does anyone else remember this game? or atleast it's name?

Ha, for once I'm the first with the answer

I believe the game you are referring to is Xenophobe: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Xenophobe_%28video_game%29

no it wasn't Alien storm,

It was much older with far simpler graphics

the levels were a series of white space station rooms and corridors

I don't belive the backgrounds scrolled each area was only one screen wide and the graphics were 8-bit

the controls were simple

I really think it was Xenophobe. It perfectly fits the description you gave, all except for "alien" being in the name, but the prime part of that game is that it was against aliens.

Thanks Darkmoon
I was starting to doubt the alien in the title myself but I haven't seen the game in atleast 15 years so thats understandable lemme check

Edit

I've been looking for that for ages... thanks so much

and our the second post how did I miss that

That's what I was saying. I'm like "jesus, it's right there people!"

Glad I could be of help. FYI, It's on one of the Midway collections for the XBox I believe. A decent rendition of the game, even if it does lack the cool split-screen.

Plastic surgery

Remember this was back in the 80's

Pac man was terrified his career would be destroyed if people found out about his life as a cross dressing prostitute and drug addict.

so with a baby at home, he must have a wife so when he leaves at night in drag the neghbors just figured it was Ms Pad man
