Don't you just hate it when that happens?

Edit:
He looks as if he just experienced an alternate reality where everything looks familiar, yet nothing makes sense. Hmmm, a happy Alexsi? Yes, that sounds about right.

And nothing in his 300+ years of quality education in the most diverse of subjects could prepare him for this.

Go with the flow, Abel, just go with the flow. You have met the irresistible force. Or was it imponderable object? I forget.

Wait, is that a snuggie?

Fixed your topic title. -- llearch

From the looks of it, Abel's showing a smidgen of puzzlement! With a slight case of confusion maybe.
Who is the sanest of us all? Why, the insane of course!

At least we now know what to do if Alexsi gets in a bad mood.

What, bring her soup? Or bring her Pyroduck?

Crap, I think we better test out that theory 'cause you just put Alexsi in a bad mood by calling her moody. :U

Sparta? no, you should've taken that right at albuquerque..

Tsk, Soup. Tea is far more calming. But whatever hope he doesn't burn his tongue or mouth on that soup, she might have gotten a bit carried away while making it in such a joyous mood.  :U

Soooooo... could one consider that returning the favor? :B
If I recall correctly, Pyro told Abel after their fight that Alexsi brought Pyro something (tea, I think?) wearing only a - and then Abel cut him off. However, I think we all get the picture :3

Quick someone give me that loincloth and bowtie, so I can rectify it and quickly shove Pyroduck into her arms!!   :mowwink

Heh...I've been wondering when the comic would invoke the trope about silly soap operas.

...Okay, I haven't.  :B But it's one of my favorite gags.

Also, it does seem quite disconcerting to Abel to have the third-scariest-thing-in-the-world being so nice. x3  Just enjoy your soup and soap,  Abel.

Did anyone else even pay attention to the TV (not that happy Alexsi isn't already weird)?

Oh no, Alexi's been kidnapped and replaced by a cubi of aln Dimanika!
...
Probably not. But this has been a confusing day for Abel so far.

Just spreading the confusion around. There's enough for everybody!

That may be but happy Alexsi is also a safe Alexsi.

joshofspam

I take it Abel like his soaps. :mwaha

Me personaly, I like my chicken and dumplings. :mowcookie
I perfer my spam cooked on a skillet.

InsanityRequiem

If it's the time between 11:00 AM and 3:00 PM, hence the late talking by Alexsi, then that's why there's a soap! It's the only thing that's showing on TV. It's a nasty time to be home at when you're ill or something.

I was just wondering, on a scale of one-to-Alexsi, did Abel's "aaaiiieee!!!"-meter just hit eleven? Maybe she's a bit more now than only the third-scariest thing he's ever met...   >:3

I did....

Talk about the shoe being on the other foot, as far as Abel's concerned....  Isn't it usually him who does stuff like that to people?

And yeah, it's surprising that he's just going along with it there.  I couldn't even figure out that it WAS a soap he was watching, it was so weird....

And Alexsi IS scary this way....   :erk  I'm all for her being happy, what with the stress of running the inn and all, but that's TOO happy for Alexsi--for her sake.  That much of a high is only setting her up for a huge withdrawal and depression later....

Jasonrevall

I'm interested to see how she would break up a fight or get rid of a trouble maker in this mood. Also chicken noodle soup is a cure all for both illness and depression.

Why yes yes she is .... Pushing Daytime TV on Abel in his state of mind, could homicidal at least.  But it may throw everything into a loop...

The real question Will he be Abel to think thru his nightmare with that romantic mush in front of him...?

Abel notices that Dan is freaking glowing*

Dan: "Hey Abel :) Sleep well?
Abel: "Uhhhhh... yeah..."
Dan: "Good. Well, I gotta get going."
Abel thinking: "What. The. Frig. Is going on?!"

Happy Alexi is more scary than scary Alexi.   :sweatdrop

When someone wielding oversized 2-handed hammers has their chipper mood ruined, the ruining person tends to appear in milk carton pictures soon after.

And has anyone else noticed that we haven't seen Pyro yet?  *dun. Dun. DUNNNNNNN!*  /soapopera
