Oh, there you are! I was starting to wonder whether you'd gone missing. So I'm supposed to like spring best? Why is that so? I think I like autumn best. Then again, my autumn is your spring, so we both enjoy the same time of year. Spring is nice, though. I think each season has its charm. Don't you?

OK, I'll ask a few more questions, some mine and some borrowed because some of the material posted here is too good to waste.

What are you?
Have you ever visited a foreign country? If so, which ones? (Taken from Jairus.) If not (or even if you have), is there anywhere you'd like to go?
What do you propose to combat poverty in first-world countries? In third-world countries? (That's the way Darkdragon asked it, I would have worded it differently.)
What is your quest? (Taken from Jer-oh-me.)
Have you ever been mistaken for someone else? If so, how did that happen, and how did you react?
Have you met any members of this forum in real life? (Besides yourself, that is.) If so, what was it like? Was it before or after you/they joined the forum? If not, what do you think it would be like?
Am I asking too many questions?
~~ Gabi a.k.a. Gliynn Starseed, APF ~~
Thanks to Silver for the yappities, and to everyone for being so great!

Dear Invisible Friend,

What kind of dog? And have you owned other dogs?
What's the first gaming system you had, and if you can remember, what's the first game you ever played?
Well, what's the best movie you saw in the last year?
What's the best book you've read in the last year?
Have you read Watchmen?
Where were you driving?
So, how was Mexico and Canada?
Quote from: Jairus's Invisible Friend
Dear Visible Friend,

A Dachshund, and yes.
N64, Errm, the first Super Mario on the SNES.
Watchmen.
Without Remorse.
Yes.
Across the country.
Hot and cold respectively.

Dear Invisible Friend,

Hmm, wallabies.
Do you think I should write a story about a clone of myself who goes mad and does Mad Scientist stuff?
Do you like multi-function weapons in FPS games?
If you had to choose only one weapon from any FPS ever made to fight an incredibly destructive and terrifying monstrosity, what would you choose? Please provide the game's name also.
What was the first video game you ever played?
What was the first board game you ever played?
Pizza-ray!!!
Do you think a weapon that turns your enemies into flammable icicles is cool?

Oh, almost forgot to thank you for the lovely picture.
Quote from: Jer-oh-me's Invisible Friend
Dear Visible Friend,

What about them?
Why not?
If they are a) cool or b) practical.
Probably the Gilgamesh from Devil May Cry 4.
Tetris.
Probably Monopoly.
Huh?
Yeah. I'd like to see flammable icicles burn. :kittydevious

You're welcome. :D

It was a reference to a song played on Dr. Demento.  I do think that each season has its charm.

OK, I'll ask a few more questions, some mine and some borrowed because some of the material posted here is too good to waste.

What are you?
I am me.

Have you ever visited a foreign country? If so, which ones? (Taken from Jairus.) If not (or even if you have), is there anywhere you'd like to go?
I have not, though I would like to visit Germany.

What do you propose to combat poverty in first-world countries? In third-world countries? (That's the way Darkdragon asked it, I would have worded it differently.)
The easiest thing to say would be Socialism, but really, the only thing we can do is do our best to help.

What is your quest? (Taken from Jer-oh-me.)
To seek the Grail.

Have you ever been mistaken for someone else? If so, how did that happen, and how did you react?
I have, but I can't remember how it happened or how I reacted.

Have you met any members of this forum in real life? (Besides yourself, that is.) If so, what was it like? Was it before or after you/they joined the forum? If not, what do
you think it would be like?
I have not, but I'm sure we wouldn't realize who each other were for a while.

Am I asking too many questions?
Of course not.  Why would you think something like that?

Wow, it looks like dachshunds are making a comeback. I wonder if they will ever beat the popularity of poodles. Ah, wait, that has nothing to do with our previous conversation, does it?

Do you think that establishing yourself as a sloppy writer can be a stroke of genius? (Not that you have, mind you, still stealing bits of posts).

Can you please tell me something interesting that has happened since you joined this forum?

Have you seen the CM Photo Album? What do you think about it?

Most people here have at least some experience in writing and/or roleplaying, so I believe this question is applicable to just about everyone here. How do you go about creating a character? What kind(s) of characters do you find it easier to play/write about? If you've never tried it, then why not?

Not particularly, but if you want to continue with multiple threads, go ahead.

Do you think that establishing yourself as a sloppy writer can be a stroke of genius? (Not that you have, mind you, still stealing bits of posts).
No, since establishing yourself as a sloppy writer can create a terrible first-impression, and since you only get one of those...

Can you please tell me something interesting that has happened since you joined this forum?
I went to a different school.

Have you seen the CM Photo Album? What do you think about it?
I have, and I think that Darkmoon's been having a bit too much of the adult brownies.

Most people here have at least some experience in writing and/or roleplaying, so I believe this question is applicable to just about everyone here. How do you go about creating a character? What kind(s) of characters do you find it easier to play/write about? If you've never tried it, then why not?
DnD: When I create a character, I decide on a class, then think how I (The real person) would play out that role.  This way, I don't really have to think about what I need a character to do to stay "in character."  Like anybody, I find it easier to play/write about characters that are interesting.  If you tried to write about or play as a character you weren't really interested in, would you enjoy it?

i'm rechecking my spam filter and  everything. i've received to sets of answers  via pm it seems one of which after i went to bed on the 19 (i'm checking to make sure i put them up like i think i did)  and  three sets on the 20(the day i didn't post answers after checking  i think i know why) one answer on the 21 and one answer on the 22. due to my habit of posting answer daily if there are two or more i was under the impression it'd poster the read answers on the 20 already.

What is your favorite movie?
What is your favorite video game.
Quote from: shadowterm's Invisible FriendDear visible friend,

Dear transparent friend:

Do you consider yourself more of an artist, a writer or a musician?

Let me rephase. Consider desire - a want. How much desire would be
considered too much (id est unhealthy)?

Do you think popular culture programs should depict phenomena more
realistically, especially concerning the sciences?

Erm, you might not be aware, but the first question in a game of 20
questions is "Is it an animal, vegetable or mineral?". "Yes" isn't a
valid answer, but it is one anyways. Moving on.

Has a part of this thing ever been alive?
Is it something which one can see in the city?
Quote from: Darkdragon's Invisible FriendI consider writers and
musicians to be artists.

Ooh, Latin! Let's see... I think it's too much when someone suffers
because of it.

If they intend to be serious, then yes. Otherwise, people should know
it's just a silly show and it's not to be taken seriously.

Oh, sorry. It's been a while since I played that game. I'll make up
for it by telling you it's not something found in nature.

No, unless you're talking of the remote origin of some of the
molecules that conform it, in which case lots of things have been
alive at some point.
Yes.

A most interesting picture. What inspired you to present this as my image for the game?

What do you consider more dangerous - ignorance or obstinacy? Why?

Would the average household have one of these objects in the home?

Gabi

Hey! Did you know it was one of the biggest holidays in Argentina on the 25th? I spent it in Salta and watched the city band play at the main square. My weekend was good, I did some cool things and saw some beautiful landscapes. If only I'd had an Internet connection, that would have made things much easier (like checking in for the return flight, checking my e-mails so that my fellow teachers didn't think I had vanished, and keeping up with the game).

It probably says something that I spent my only 15 minutes online posting here. I'm not sure of what it says, though. What do you think?

I wish I weren't so busy... it's hard to think of good questions when you're thinking of 20 other things at the same time. I guess I'll just bring back an old question for now. What do you think about the current situation?

On your computer, what would this code do?
Can you translate this into another language?
If yes, please do.

To my visible fiend.

I can't say what language it is for sure, but if I had to guess, C or python.

I can guess that this code would print the names in sys.bulletin_module_names that corresponded to the files/whatever defined in the if and elif commands.

No, I cannot translate this into another language.

Dear unseen friend:

Did you know it was towel
day
on the 25th?

A most interesting picture. What inspired you to present this as my
image for the game?

What do you consider more dangerous - ignorance or obstinacy? Why?

Is its primary function to entertain?
Would the average household have one of these objects in the home?
Quote from: Darkdragon's Invisible FriendNo, I didn't. That's
amusing. Thanks for the info.

Thanks, I'm glad you like it. I just wanted to experiment.

I think each of them can be dangerous in its own way.

No.
I'm not sure what the average household is. I have one here, if that
helps.

Dear refractive friend:

Do you like cookies? If so, what type?

How do you think the government should tackle organized crime?

If I tell you in a family of two children one of the children is a girl, what are the chances the other child is also a girl? (Ignoring things like twins, hermaphrodites, genetic predisposition et cetera)

Is the object luminescent?
Does the object need to stay plugged to an outlet for it to work?

i do believe that the current play time per round is around 17 days like last round. As of today (8:pm) 14 days have past. Instead of closing this round tonight i'll leave it open until Tuesday morning. That gives everyone 3 more days to finis their images and get them in as of yet the  IF image count is only two.

Jer-oh-me

Huh, guess I'm not the only one being negligent of this thread.

Dear Invisible friend, waiting for your picture... I can't think of any questions to go with.

e_voyager

Jer-oh-me the last questions you asked were on the 25 and they were answered the same day i am still waiting for a couple of pictures and that person has until this afternoon/ evening to send it as them

No, I didn't.  How did the band sound?

I think that if you're doing something you enjoy, there's a strange effect that time seems to slow down.

The current situation where?  There are many situations.

I'm sorry. :(  I had other things to do and IF kinda slipped my mind.

What's the square root of (b²-4ac)?
The square root of the discriminant?
