Call me a non believer, but I think Abel is straight and just plays it gay to tick people off- look how well it has worked on Dan. And on a side note, the internet is the new street, meaning there is truth to be found, but you have to go through a lot of "my friends cousin said he heard it from a friend who knows it from his dad" type of info.

Personally, I think he is bi. Cubi can shapeshift and I am reminded of a line from a dang good story, though high in squick-factor (which I can't name here, due to content).

Frequently.  It usually comes up whenever someone asserts that Abel is definitely gay

Of course it's been considered; for all of five seconds.  Then they went off and decided that 'OMG, he's so gay and I can prove it!' or 'He's totally straight and you can see that here, here and here.'; and just like that, they were set in their opinion and won't change even if Amber tells them exactly what Abel's sexual orientation is.  It's just one of the most common traits of fans; they decide that they know everything about that particular character and wouldn't change if God himself appeared before them and told them that they were wrong.

Granted, there are some exceptions, but that's how most of them are.

Well, to a certain degree. Somehow, I doubt that Jyrras is going to be using any tables in a fashion like Nina did, or snap and go crazy and try to kill everyone when his crush gets killed, and reveal himself to be a creaturephobic asshole. That doesn't entirely sound like Jyboy.

I sure hope Abel doesn't get killed. That would just be the cherry on the sundae of suckage that is his life.

I remember Amber saying that she does get rule 34 type drawings from fans while everyone watch her play Dead Space over the net. I only come across one pic so far though.

Abel strikes me as extra shy about that sort of thing and does seem to do everything he can to get off subject. After a few hundred years I imagine he got reeeeallly good at it.

He's never shown sexual interest, but he's certainly acted more femenine than most of the female cast, from time to time.
