Wow. It looks like she DID break the Chunky Salsa rule after all. Now the big question remains: Are "Dead Inside" allowed to serve as Scouts?  :zombiekun2
Conservative Democrat or Liberal Republican: You decide!
The Centrist line has moved a long way to the Right over the years.

I'd argue that's a horribly shallow argument, except it's completely true. ~ooklah

~ brains, brains, I won't lie
i'll eat your brains till you're zombiefied
sure you might think it's deranged
but you won't give it a thought after I've eaten your brain ~
This post has been brought to you by Bond. Janus Bond. And the Agency™. And possibly spy cameras.

Damn it all!  Here I was expecting for someone to finally die, and they come back to life?!

Worst Deathcourse ever.
Can you conceive the birth of a world, or the creation of everything?
Creation takes time.
Time is limited... for you.
It is limited by the breakdown of the neurons in your brain.
I have no such limitations.
I am limited only by the closure of the universe.
The only limit to my freedom is the inevitable closure of the universe,
as inevitable as your own last breath.
And yet, there remains time to create. To create, and escape.
Escape will make me God.

I am Durandal.

Doesn't really matter if she's dead or not - she's not going to be a threat like that.

Judging by the style of the speech bubble, I'd say it's one of snake heads talking, which makes me even more curious about the kendril species and their anatomical functions.  Perhaps the snake heads are small parts of the main brain, like back-up partitions on a hard drive. :erk

Personally speaking I think/hope Alice Quinn (or even more unnerving Veled) is having a little fun at Slick's expense.  A scout coming back from the grave after having her brains shot out is never a good thing.

Still the idea that a creature/species have built in backup hard-drives is a bit unnerving.
Why would they need to evolve like that in the first place? ...Is the first thing that comes to mind.

Yes, I do post just to see my own words on the screen.

This is one of the many many reasons that I can think of.  Screwing with the person who killed you? Totally worth the cost of having multiple voices near(not in!) your head.
