Of course, I tend to lurk around and get the lay of the land befoer I post, and by the time I've worked up the courage to post, I don't really consider myself new enough to post a 'here I am' thread.

Looking back on it, my introduction was kinda weak. I guess I should say that my real name is Orian and that I'm a software developer for a hydrographics company. Damaris inspired me to add this little bit more.

Ocean floor mapping. It's not that interesting. I don't work on hydrographics personally as I'm in the special projects division which looks after things that don't fall under any of our normal products. Kinda of a custom products group.
