Super Smash Brothers Brawl

What I am convinced will be the greatest video game of all time will be coming out soon. The release date is now March 9th and I'm ready for it. I've got a Wii, I've got the money saved up, and I'm going to get 2 new Gamecube controllers when it comes out. Anyways, this topic is for what you think. Things they did right, things they did wrong, and things they need to do. I think the biggest thing they needed to do (which they did) was add Meta Knight. King Dedede was also a good addition as well as Wario. I'm a little dissapointed they replaced Mewtwo with Lucario though. The Pokemon Trainer should be fun as well. However their greatest addition period has to be Sonic the Hedgehog.

Good: can't say for sure yet, but I'm liking Meta Knight and Pit. Not to mention the final smashes look awesome.
Interesting things: Sonic, i'm not a fan of sonic really, but he looks cool. Poke'mon trainer looks good. Snake, again I'm not a fan of this game, but snake's awesome regardless.
Things that are needed: a simple, really big map. Something like final destination that's really big. Big, empty, and flat. Maybe with some plat forms. And nothing crazy going on. The wacky maps are fun sometimes, but I prefer levels where it's me vs the players, not me vs players vs map.

As far as prep goes, I bought a Wii practically for this game, got a wifi modem to play online with it, and I've got the cash saved up. All-in-all, it just needs to be released soon. I already know I'm going to love it and play it way too much.

YES he does. Someone leaked an animation of all the Final Smash moves on the Internet along with the complete Brawl list. Oh god, I thought I was the only one who cared about Mr. Game & Watch. I no longer feel alone. ;-;

Oh and that Pikmin Dude Captain Olimar's going to be in Brawl. I actually really, really am looking forward to that. I really liked Pikmin.

I'm not sure how the information got out in the first place, but the videos are all over YouTube (I believe; that's where my friend showed me the two videos which had the information to begin with). If you do some searching I'm fairly sure you can find them.

As for G&W, being sixteen years old and having started playing video games with some of the earlier Mario games (around 1995 or 1996), I'm sadly unfamiliar with Mr. Game & Watch's first debut. I personally love this guy because he's so much fun to play around with in Melee, though.

Well, Brawl's been out in Japan for awhile now, so it's not exactly leaking now. I think some stuff got leaked shortly before the Japanese release though, like the character list and the levels and such.

I don't think Brawl is coming out in Europe for a very long time, so I'm not holding my breath.

Actually that's a lie, I don't really but I'm really sorry.  I still think Kirby's Final Smash should've been Rockstar Kriby instead of Chef Kirby. Also as far as a really big plain map goes, I think that Super Smash Bros greatest asset is it's shear chaos so I like all the stages with a bunch of weird stuff going on.

One of the things I'm most excited for is the Assist Trophies. Just think- there could be any character in Nintendo history (and beyond)!
I'm most looking forward to playing Pit, because he looks awesome. I imagine he'll move somewhat like Falco crossed with Link. High jumps (Wings!) and diverse attacks (swords, and bow and arrow).

I am deathly excited for this game- and don't even have a Wii! XD

I was surprised. I went to get it the day it came out at Best Buy. I expected dissapointed but there were actually copies on the shelf. It was everything I expected it tobe and then some. I almost have all the characters unlocked now. Only 3 to go. I've also been having fun in the classic games section.

If you use Toon Link 10 times you can unlock Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time in the Classics vault.

I now have all characters unlocked and have finished all 41 Events on Hard mode...  Event 41 was the worst pain overall.  Also as a side note, King Dedede really sucks.

This shouldn't be a spoiler, as it was in the E3 video, but I love how Link and Yoshi are together in the subspace emissary. My two favs! Yay! Though it was so difficult when it asks who you want to play as...

That is my Smash code, and you don't need the Wii code.  All you do is put my Smash code into your friend roster and then I put yours into mine and then we can join each other's games.

You aren't. And YAY I actually ROCK at this game! (True, I was playing against twelve-year-olds, but these are twelve-year-olds who usually kick my ass in Melee.)

And even though I'm kinda disappointed that Mewtwo's gone, Meta Knight being playable comes pretty close to making up for that.
