Cogidubnus was apparently adopted, but still is not a bastard as a bastard requires that a child be concieved by one married parent, but not with the parent married to him/her.

I am unsure if Valynth is correct or not - I was, however, conceived out of wedlock. To my thinking, the title is correctly applied to both situations.
