I have eaten bunnies, they were tough and didn't taste too good. Still, better than starving I guess.

*hmms*  A mutant bunny.  It's actually not too hard to isolate larger than normal phenotypes from rapidly-reproducing species.  We have strains of rats in our lab that get to be as big as housecats.  Monsterous things, they are.

Dost thou have the curious ones of the sort that can grow human ears on their backs, I wonder? Or those that fluoresce?

Oh, and you've eaten Swedish bunnies, ITOS. The ones on the continent are a bit more tasty.

I ate Czech bunnies but all the Czech people liked them so maybe it was just me.

the problem most people face with eating rabbit and the like is that they do not know how to cook it. wild game is diffrent from domesticated meat animals, and often requires 'old school' cooking such as boiling it for two hours. chances are the two best ways to serve rabbit are in any kind of soup or stew that takes all day to cook, or to roast it like the old german dude did, which i gather took at least four hours and possibly included open flames for that extra smoked flavor.

for more information pick up a copy of "kill it and grill it" by ted nugent, my brother swears by the book and he used to work at gander mountan when they had regular wild game potluks. weird hits a new level when one of your female coworkers brings in a crockpot full of wildebeast and your boss serves rattlesnake casserole.
