Today is my wifes birthday! she is especially excited because she turns 26 on the 26th, oddly enough last year my age was the date too but nobody cared.

we went out of our way to swap shifts with coworkers so we would both be off (its hard to do anything when you have to be in bed by 4 PM and wake up at 9 PM) as well as our best friend (my best friend sinse kindergarten, her only remaining friend that has not sided against her in favor of ex boyfriends or become her stalker...yes, my wife has stalkers) who we have not seen in months. we are going to see the new pirates movie, dig into a kitkat ice cream cake, eat somewhere nice, and then go midnight bowling.

after almost a full year of doing nothing but work, sleep, and watch out toddler it will be a great night out.
