Heh, I've done that myself and it still took me by surprise.  Mind you, I usually prefix it with 0x.

Anyway, thanks guys.  Today could have gone more smoothly as I had yet another hard disk crash - three this week, including the SSD.  The brand new replacement seems to be holding up.  If it dies too, I'm going to have to assume the PSU or some other factor is causing them to die.

As cleansing as that was, it didn't make me feel any better about turning 35, though.
