Three factors.  Time compression, inertia, and the eye's quirks in color processing.  While on the train you are going slightly faster in time then normal, and when you go to rest again it seems like time slows down.  Next is inertia, which makes you think that you are still going forwards, and when you look out you get confused, because nothing is moving anymore.  Next is the quirk of color processing.  Some colors will seem of sit in the eye longer then others.  So briefly some of the old colors are still there while others are gone.

You ask someone else.

I wouldn't say you have, first of all because there is no such thing as a 'sentance', and secondly because there are multiple ways to extend a sentence for as long as you wish without ceasing to make sense, which is not what you did because the situation you described in your question does not make much sense at all, and because longer sentences have been posted on this forum, for example this one.
