A bit late for that kind of regret, I think.  The way I see it, she'll either get a baptism of fire as a Trickster by rescuing Rafe, or the fact that she couldn't will prompt her to become to best trickster ever in order to avenge him, much like how Dan in DMFA went crazy because Regina murdered his friends.
