there's no bugs option  :<
Amber chose 'other' and specified.
yep, but I thought a bit unfair not to have the option... speaking of which, there's no dinosaurs either  :<

Well... not really. They are (were) two different classes of animal I thought. There were reptiles around at the time of the dinosaurs, but the two were distinguished. I believe it is theorised that dinosaurs were warm blooded.

I mean, they're visually similar, but different enough to go in a different catagory here I'd have thought. But they're probably not popular enough for it to be worth it.

Ah, dinosaurs are a sub class in sauripsoda? Wow. Your biology knowledge is best. All I know is what I have inferred from popular science programmes on TV. :B

I went with canids. I prefer the wild variety such as wolves, coyotes, hyenas, etc.

I also picked cows. Moo, baby.

I had to vote 'all of them'.  My mind is incapable of accepting unegalitarian scenarios.  So all animals rock.  Artificial life too.  We need some artificial life.  I suppose we already do have some on a very basic level, however.  Creatures rock.

As for representing every animal species out there in a poll like this, I know from my experiences with 'Firesomething' that that would be a very long poll.  Personally I'm -still- adding species to Firesomething every now and then ... that and weird prefixes.  In fact, my browser is frequently named after species that I've never heard of or don't remember.

Right now, it's a Swingworthy Solarsaki.

I love Firesomething.  Firesomething rocks.

It helps if I link to Firesomething so people will actually know what it is that I'm rambling about in half of that.  I should probably put my Firesomething list up summere too.

Hyenas are Felines Toric, Haven't you ever watched Krat's Creatures (or the new dorky equvilent Zaboomafu or simmilar)?

Dinosaurs, Dolphins, Otters I'm not afraid of anything on land or in the sea ....I do however have a fear of horses, they're evil.

Canine, feline, and mystical are my favorites...all of the Carnivora genre anyway.

Huh...are those ALL from Furc?  I haven't been at the site in the longest time.  :rolleyes

Bwahahahahaha! That's just brilliant!

... of course, the problem *I* have is I never open any new windows, but... I could sneak it onto a number of desktops at work and see if they notice... :-)

since when? hyenas have their own family, hyenids, unless we're counting suborders, not families, but in that case canids and mustelids should fall into the same category, as well as bovines/deers
