I just became Admin on another site. I was going to make a topic for it to help get new members because it's relatively new, but I figured I'd get in trouble for doing so.

I know it just I never thought I'd get a position like that. And I've made many improvements already. The creator of the site is new to the forum thing so my knowledge of forums will help a lot. And thanks Damaris. And could I maybe get some tips from an experienced Admin?

Wrap yourself in an aura of infallibility and mystique. Don't try to be friendly with anyone, and say it "helps you maintain objectivity". Use obscure and hard to understand words (longer is better) but be sure you use them in manners that are correct.

I'm 16 with ADHD. He has had years to learn how to control it. Although, I do know when I have to be serious.

If there are more than one admin, make sure to discuss things as much as possible. Don't let admin disagreements ooze over onto the regular portions of the forum - keep a united front.

Me and the other admin, creator of the forum, get along pretty well. We been trying to have a pokemon battle but we've been having problems connecting. He's said he's going to get a new ds.
