Those probably don't only mean an on coming self destruct to her, they also countdown to the potential of a bill for collateral damage coming in her mail.

I was thinking Samsus would have plopped on the rim for a bit before falling in the center of the head triggering a mega bomb in his center. But a super missile in his face works just as well.
