The bike-a-thon is on for Sunday!

So I'll be having a pretty long ride.  Not as long as planned, only raised enough (combined with T-shirt sales money to boost it a bit) for 85 miles.  Not bad, but 15 short of the 100 I was hoping for.

Still, it may prove more difficult for me than it normall would due to the bronchitis I had to battle all last week, which left me rather weak.

I'll manage the 85, don't worry.  I did a ride that long just for the heck of it two years ago.  And I'll be posting my little videos of it afterward.  Most of the video will be of the brackish estuary nature reserve near Mystic Island, which has many migratory birds visiting at this time of year.  

I'll likely also be stopping  here  on the way back for a rootbeer float.  :9  It's a tradition for anyone of our family visiting the area.

And once again, it was TOO EASY!!!  I need MORE sponsors next year!  85 miles was not enough to exhaust me!

I'll be putting up the video clips this week.  It's mainly me gibbering on and on about things in the area, finding out that the places I wanted to eat had already closed for the season (like the Stewart's Root Beer stand ) and being a geek about nature as usual.

But, it's also proof that I did the ride!  So it's important.
