I must say that I am really liking the amount of detail that's gone into this page and the past couple of pages. There's so much detail that it once again leaves me asking questions about certain details.

Was the glow effect for the soul containers done the same way as the sun in the previous page, or was a different method used?

How exactly were the trees colored? An airbrush, tweaked noise, or something else entirely?

Is the angular Jayhawk Cybernetics logo on the booth's sign vector based or hand drawn?

Speaking of that booth, the title of this thread is more than just a play on the words written on it. I wonder how many people will get the reference.

Cassandra is enjoying the product demonstration it seems and so are Joshua, Azrael and that one Panther it seems.

I wonder how far Keaton's idea to get a flesh and blood body back will go?

It has four layers, three additive and one set to 'Darken Only'.

Three passes of airbrush, one for each shade of green. I used to have a way to do it using a gradient but that seems to have broken in GIMP 2.8. It might work now, though - I haven't tried it recently.

Vectored. I tried doing it by hand at first, but then decided that Inkscape could do a better job.

I think the Panther is the Cheetah that was killed, and likes being a feral.

or more likely one of the AI panther's jacob has as guards, with the idea of packaging recognition of fully artificial intelligence beings alongside recognition of transferred souls in artificial bodies.

Either of those might be it.

Though I'd have to say that it being the one Cheetah being placed in the Panther body is more likely. With the demonstration with Soul Food, it makes sense to show off those who have been resurrected with that technology.

Not only that, but it A.I.'s might still be something that Daryil and Jakob might want to keep under their hats, considering how they don't quite (but seriously get close) to breaching creating new sentient life.

Still doesn't have any fur yet though. If it is him, he must have forgotten about that one singular gripe.

Given the bitch's behavior, she should feel lucky to even be alive (for a given definition of "alive"). Seriously, how long is she going to blight the story? Someone should dip her head in water and watch as her circuitboards fry as painfully as possible.

Yes, the android bodies are definitely waterproof, since Dorcan survived a trip inside a washing machine. In fact, IIRC, they are fully IP-68 compliant.

Also, I agree that Lycanthromancer is being a bit too agressive here. I hope he mellows out, since I like his username, but unfortunately for him, Keaton will "blight" most of this arc, and afterwards she'll continue to occasionally make appearances in the comic until its very end.
She also appears in its sequel, Epsilon Project.

With regard to understanding the source of the quote, Descartes said "I think, therefore I am". (He actually said it in French.) However, he also made it clear that he is unable to say anything about others. Therefore, "they think, therefore they are" would not be accurate, although "they are if they think" would be provable, since you can never prove that they think.

My personal feeling is that Descartes was simply annoyed at all the people debating existence, and the quote was his way of shutting them up.

Normally, yes. On the other hand, since the AIs on show here are able to be thought/emotion read by 'Cubi, you can tell with some degree of certainty. So it's really just a cute marketing slogan.
