Well, he got out of it alive. Maybe we'll get to see what happened in flashbacks, or maybe it's something we'll be left wondering about out of sheer spite on Amber's part

I have DMFA as the home page... have been awake since about 4:30 AM , and still someone makes a thread ahead...

As for the comic, well... to expand on what Tape has said -compared to the last two er.. actually all encounters with Dark Pegasus, Dan didn't need to be ressurected this time, which is an advancement.

I just happened to check it quickly when I got out of the shower. I do tend to check it periodically at work, mind.

I'm wondering what could have gone so bad that Dan wants to run away. DP already wanted him dead, Kria seemed easy enough with her daughter's conniving, and Lorenda was all apologetic for dragging him into this.

EDIT: At least Fa'Lina didn't have him warped off to SAIA before he even got through the door. That had been my theory

Regarding Dan's predicament... I'm just wondering how well lying low for a month would work anyway. Kria seemed to be after Aniz for a lot, lot longer than that.

Actually, how's Alexsi going to take Abel being away for a month? His duty is supposedly to mentor Dan and he'd be helpful enough for day-to-day questions. Though I suppose Fa'Lina might "allow" him to stay behind anyway now he has a job...

Dan used his dessert fork to eat dinner! It was such a glaring social faux pas that DP instantly declared he must die and Dan had to kill everyone to escape!

Alas, this means Devin, DP, Lorenda, and Kria are no more, but now Mab has four less characters' plot points to keep track of! Meaning she can be lazy and eat smores and Swedish Fish all day.

It could be a lot of things. Spilling punch on a higher person then Kria or DP. Saying or doing something stupid with someones daughter while their parents are there. Maybe Regina sneaked in and when Dan bumped into her he went ballistic again. Though if Kria is any indication it could be that half the people there (with no small hints or indications) have let Dan know about their interest in him.

Given how strenuously Abel objected to leaving the Academy (and later the basement), it will be very interesting to see if he would want to stay out there when he no longer has the duty/excuse of Dan. Character development!

Dying to know what went on at the party! I guess this means Abel didn't attend, which is disappointing - I'm on pins and needles waiting for the big Abel/Kria(/Devin?) reunion. I hope it'll happen before too much longer!

...Did I mention I'm dying to know what went on at the party?

The strangest thing is Dan's facial expression.

Sure it all points to that something might have happened. But his expression doesn't look like anything that would bring ultimate doom upon anyone's head.

It looks like he's shying away from an awkward situation then from dogging a swinging sword. Maybe Lorenda and Dan let it slip out that Abel is at residents at the Lost Inn and Dan has a clue to how awkward that meeting could be.

Maybe he isn't afraid of the people at the party. But more afraid of the people at home will do if they find out. Having Kria giving Abel a bear hug through the closed front door brings both a cute and disturbing image. Doesn't help that she would almost certainly insist that Abel stop on by before the day is done for tea and biscuits.

Judging from Dan's expression in panel 2, I'd guess that whatever happened was more along the lines of major embarrassment,, rather than mass destruction. (Probably Kria related; she seems very good at that sort of thing.) Dan just doesn't want to tell anyone -- especially not Wildy. The flashback should be very entertaining. :-)

I take it that Dan is now a second Walking Shirtless Scene? To, ah, cover for those times when Abel might be wearing a shirt -- or not. ;-)

It was very awkard after that for several hours, while they tried to act like nothing happened.

Personally, my pet theory is that Dan killed DP again in order to "save" Devin, only to find out later that the Undead in question was NOT actually in any danger.
