Considering it is Jyrras who's house he is in I say his fears of what is in his house is well founded.
Jyrras is a niceguy but it is the nice ones that can be the most dangerous.

Well her name IS Deathbringer, she WAS created by accident, and nobody really knows what she can do.  That's pretty scary to me.

For all we know, Abel might still be using the original meanings for the words. He's pretty old.

It'll be fun if he gets to meet the inhabitants of Jyrras' house on friendly terms, though they're supposed to be a secret.
