I'm not sure which option I'd prefer more.  Amber draws some amazing clothing on her characters.  Super-sexy-evening-dress Kria, or super-sexy-nekkid-amazon Kria?  The mind boggles at the options!

I never did see the end of that series. It is on my top ten list of "Anime series I MUST get a boxed set of". Topping that list, of course, is Slayers Revolution and Evolution-R, or as I like to call it, Season 4 parts 1 and 2.

Regarding Ambers pet rat:

The death of a pet is often rough, you have my sympathies. I've had four pet rats, even when they only live a short time (three years or less) it's still upsetting to see them go. I would still encourage people to have pets though, for companionship and a child's first introduction to the concept of mortality.

Actually if Dan is somehow waylaid in the shops and can't make it Thursday, that might be kind of interesting.

I am betting back then on DP wearing a shirt in a restaurant he hadn't had any previous deaths then and thus wasn't less himself than Kria can remember him being and thus had no problem with wearing them. Or maybe he agreed to the shirt cause he heard the places food was well worth it. Or maybe he just crafted the illusion of a shirt around himself to get in. Any answer could be a possible right answer.

Edit: Also, sorry to hear about your pet rat Amber. May he find eternal happiness in the beyond.(This and variants of it are what I usually say when I hear someones pet has died)

Quite possible.  It's hard to maintain a proper sinister look when your outfit includes something fuzzy.  That doesn't stop me from wanting to see DP wear it just for giggles!  (Or to see Kria try a Shirt-su technique on him)

Sorry to hear about your rat dying.

You take a rest if you need it.

I remember having to hold down one of are families cats down as they put her down because her age started to cause health complications. Felt like I was killing her instead of putting her out of her misery. It isn't easy.

The loss of a pet is especially rough; they are often more precious to us than our own family, a sentiment/ condition I know all too well...

As passionate as you are about the comic, let it take the backseat for a while, and duct tape its' mouth shut. You need to time to grieve, clear your head, and most importantly, to think. We, your fans and friends love you, are here to support you, and will still be here for you when everything is said and done. Take a rest, and do what you must

+1 to what D'ymkarra said.

A pet tends to become an integral part of the family, and the loss and grief is no less real just because "it's just a rat/dog/whatever". I know several that were genuinely surprised just how hard they got hit with grief. I had to take my own dog to a one-way trip to the vet a couple of years ago, and the reaction to that lingered for quite a bit.

Don't feel bad about the comic, put it on the back burner for a while. We, your rabid fans, will never get enough updates anyway.

But to get slightly on-topic again: This is spookily relevant to Abel's conundrum in strip 1145. Yes, it is worth it, but expect to pay for it with blood, sweat and tears. Lots of tears. But the good times outweigh the bad. Go ahead Abel, love that little rat, and enjoy it while it lasts.
