I know I'm probably the only Argentinean here, but I think this is worth sharing since it's a historical decision. Yesterday the Senate passed the law that allows same-sex couples to get married and adopt children, with 33 votes in favor, 27 against and 3 abstentions, after a 14-hour-long debate. Argentina is now the first Latin American country where this is allowed.

The article with the details is in Spanish, but I'm sure you can find some info in English if you search the web.

Congratulations Argentina, I hope many more countries follow.

Well done on getting one up on the USA, Argentina. They're still in the homophobe age.

Also, congratulations to all gays in Argentina who wanted to get married, but couldn't before.
I predict that the marriage business is going to boom the next couple of months.
