A dread realization began to form in my mind upon receipt of these revelations.  The visitation of dreams on the psychically sensitive could not be mere chance, but must instead be part of some far greater visitation by a being alien to our world and physiology.  That this being must have supreme vatic abilities, and need not even be of the cyclopean sizes that appear in the dreamers' visions.  Even from the snatches of the Regnery translation, it is clear that this vision was seen thousands of years ago.  I remembered Emperor O'Keefe's proclamation, ``None shall live who declare `Palin fhtagn!'  Any who say this shall be put to death.''

And here I'm thinking that technically, this could be really useful. The city has a pocket to keep things in now. Rebuild that same building in that spot (albiet larger, so as not to fall in again) and it'll be just the same as before, except with a way cooler basement.

Technology, man - after some years you would be able to replace with cybernetic parts... perhaps in an army project - i think an operative that doesn't die would be interesting.
(otherwise the eternal youth and health would have to be thrown in as the old-age symptoms do lead to body failure eventually)
