Dang it, it's during the summer and I'd love to go, but if I actually manage to get a job that will be out of the question.

And even if I don't, my mother won't let me go because she's too afraid the BIG ONE will hit while I'm there, what with the recent ones in Chile and Baja California.  The San Andreas is evil like that, trying to fulfill its nefarious scheme of eventually sinking the entire southern coast of California back into the Pacific Ocean.

It really is a shame, considering that I could easily combine it with a trip to grandparents' house, the college my parents went to, and Legoland and Disneyland and California Adventure.
