No worries, it happens to everyone.  I have to be honest, if there's one thing that irks me it's going off to help someone and then having them huff about it.  However it usually ends up a misunderstanding and I'm glad that was the case here as well

Not really - as i say, it is mental projection happening
I remember a few days ago , with a friend, we were reading a notice informing about the death of one faculty memeber at the college.
It just said he suddenly died in hospital blah-blah but the friend thought it mentioned a heart attack and we had to return to the notice for me to show him it does not say so

I misread stuff all the time, that's why I've been mostly rereading things just to make sure.

So after rereading what you said, I didn't see anything that was phrased poorly.
