Perfect Date ripoff?

I found a comic on dA, using humanoid versions of the robots from Wall-E, describing each one's idea of a perfect date. At first, I didn't think too much about it, but then as I read on, I noticed a few remarkable similarities to Amber's side-arc. Pieces of dialogue and quote options also caught my attention. Take a look:

Now, not all the comics are about her characters - she has featured the OCs of some of her friends and many of them are from the canon WALL-E universe, just humanoid. But even then, the dialogue is ripped from Amber's in many of the strips. If I report this person, will the artists whose characters she drew be restricted too, or just her?

Down came the rain and washed the spider out.
Out came the sun and dried up all the rain,
And the itsy-bitsy spider went up the spout again...

I don't know but it wouldn't surprise me if Amber borrowed the idea herself.  From what I can see these were drawn by the artist and not stolen, so I'd just let it slide myself.
AFAIK it's not a crime to reference DMFA...

It is not the art, but the text that is stolen.
Also, I wouldn't think it would be a problem if the artist was referencing to DMFA, however he hasn't even included as little as a link in his comments box =/

She states in a reply that Amber is a inspiration for her.

Quite possibly - Lets just hope they did not inherit her illness-prone tendencies as well.
Apart from that, I suspect they aren't quite as ruined as Amber might say they are.

Some might even thrive on it. :)

GAH - I have been lured into fiddling with forum tamagotchies.

The comment she replied to was mine, actually. I just informed her that she may want to list Amber as the inspiration for this, because it could be interpreted as plagiarism. So, hopefully no harm done.

She still hasn't credited Amber, and while this is adorable if she does not cite where she got the text from soon I'll be reporting her.  I gave her a gentle nudge and will wait at least a week before I go there though. :)

If you read the first image of the collection, she lists Amber as an inspiration now.
