On my first round into the game, everyone thought their IF was me.

-Mao Loren guessed VSMIT. He guessed poorly: his IF was The1Kobra.
-The1Kobra guessed Basilisk2150, but his IF was e_voyager.
-Darkdragon guessed Basilisk2150. He guessed poorly. His IF was VSMIT.
-Basilisk2150 guessed Mao Loren... correctly!
-VSMIT guessed Mao. He got it wrong: his IF was Darkdragon.
-Jairus said he had no idea... yet he correctly guessed Basilisk2150!

Interesting round... 7 players and only 2 correct guesses. However (correct me if I'm wrong), Basilisk2150 failed to send an image. Which means Jairus is the only winner of Round 36! Congratulations!

yea, i've got it sketched, but my scanner has been giving me the shaft, i'm visiting the rents tomorrow if you want it jay, but as is, i need to get my other scanner i left at home... new ones seem to be dieing in record numbers this week

i'll go for another round.... and since i'm bringing my old scanner back with me on monday i can have an awesome picture for whoever turns out to be my VF in the next round...  i don't even know why i "upgraded" the new one has given me nothing but problems

I've done like 5 sketches this week (4 in class, and 1 that actually turned out awesome... they should totally rename micro-economics, "boring lectures where you'll be drawing your classmates instead of actually learning this BS, as you've got a book that does a better job than the prof") so yea, i can give you a couple of quick sketches, or the one that turned out awesome, or the one i did of ellen while i was helping her out physics... any preferences?

Agreed. I mean, I had a lot of fun hosting, but it took a lot more attention and work than simply playing. And I am up to hosting this round.

I've been watching this for awhile, but never joined because, mainly, I would not be able to fulfill the drawing criteria. Also, I was never sure I'd have the time (Plus I'd be really obvious. Just mention the word 'robot" and I'd have to give a completely honest answer ). But, heck, I may give it a go, despite the aforementioned problems. The biggest hurdle is the drawing.

Question though: Instead of e-mail, can I PM answers to the host?

And you don't have to have any drawing talent: a scribble would count. A picture would count. Basically, so long as you somehow create it, it counts.

While you could follow this simple and elegantly crafted link to the rules, it's always a good idea to have a rules refresher. All answers should be directed to me, and you got the email address to use in the PM you'll be getting shortly: alternatively, answers can be relayed to me through PM form, should the need arise. At some point over the next two weeks, send in some kind of picture for your Visible Friend: it doesn't need to be good or anything like that, just something that you did. At the end of two weeks, I'll declare the contest over, and you'll all post your guesses as to who your Invisible Friend is, at which point I'll post who won.

Decent.

It's have to analyze the possible consequences carefully. Eternal
youth seems more appealing at first sight, but if it means surviving
every other living being and even the destruction of the world we live
in, and quite possibly being immolated while still remaining alive,
then infinite wealth seems a safer option. Then again, how would this
wealth manifest, and how would I be able to access it? And, just as
important, who would know about it?

Sure, but I must warn you: I won't give the same answer to the same
question twice.

I think that's a trick question. I don't believe either is right.
Newborns have no concept of good and evil. Those are things we learn
in the same way that we learn to speak and to walk. Babies simply act
on impulse and try to fulfill their needs.

If 'might for right' means using your power for what you believe is
right, then that's the obvious choice. The other option would mean
everything that's possible is justified: you could go around killing
babies just because you can and you would see nothing wrong with that.

Human. Because only then would I get to enjoy intellectual challenges.

I watch a few, though haven't really had the time lately

Favorite book is hard, i like a lot of different styles and genres which makes choosing one pretty hard... but if you want just one, i'll go with the entire Dune collection

Again favorite movie is pretty hard, but i'll give you a top 3:
Lock, Stock and 2 Smoking Barrels
The Rock
The Dark Knight

As for what i think about robots... it depends, i think specialized robots are great such as the ones used by automakers, but the ones like the French and Japanese are building, the robots that will 'replace' humans, they're too expensive, too slow, and lack any form of intuition at all... they're more of a publicity stunt, than a real practical tool...

Now if we're talking Sci-Fi... that'd just take way too much space to go into detail... but i see them like any other tool, they can be used for good or evil
