Mowser is banned because it's spelled Jay-Jay to preserve the pronunciation. "Jai-Jai" would be pronounced "Jy-Jy."

JaiJai is banned for trying to argue pronunciation in a text format.  He's also banned because if 'Jairus' can be pronounced as 'Jay-rus' there's no reason, based on that, that 'Jai-Jai' can't be pronounced as 'Jay-Jay'.

Mowser is banned because my middle name has been mispronounced as Jy-rus several times. My last name has been misspronounced as well. This might be because the original Germanic pronunciation is closer to "eye" that "ay."
