Jubblies, it's not. Any random die will roll a 1 one time in 20. Any one die will roll two 1s in a row, one time in 400 (20x20). Any die will roll three 1s in a row, one time in 8000 (20x20x20).
If you get a large enough stack of dice, roll them all one at a time, and select all the ones that have rolled 1. Then re-roll all those, select all the ones that have rolled 1 again. Re-roll just those, and select all the ones that have re-rolled 1s. At that point, you have a set of dice that have rolled three 1s in a row, and have a 1 in 160,000 chance of rolling a 1 with any of them.
If you have a really really large number of dice, and an awful lot of spare time, you can go for one more, and make it a 1 in 32 million chance of rolling a 1, but that might be going a bit far. ;-]
Plus, all this is statistical, so it doesn't matter who rolls them.

Slowtini is banned because it was sort of the start/prologue to a story idea that has been dropped since then. It's complicated to explain, but suffice to say shortly afterwards I changed the story enough (the main female character being aware of what happened to her best friend, for example) that the story barely worked. It's still somewhere on my computer. And it wasn't finished: I'd only gotten to the point that the main character had finally cried himself into exhaustion and was talking about why he was so upset.
