Oh, King's brilliant but he's not perfect.  If you read the notes on his 'Cybernetic canine' picture, it was apparently a raccoon that went wrong.  Similarly that amazing picture of Gareeku freaking out is an amazing recovery and not what was originally planned.  In both cases you wouldn't ever know it went wrong without being told..

Now it might be that some DMFA strips went like that too, but if so you've destroyed all evidence of it so we're none the wiser

You know what would be perfect?  King's raw drawing talent combined with your use of colour.  Whether it's even possible to combine them properly, I couldn't rightly say.  But if they could be merged properly, that would pretty much be the definition of 'awesome'.

that's why I rarely throw my old sketches within three months.

I adore the feeing of "Hey, how come I never used this?" or "This isnt so bad with a few adjustments." when rummaging trough my unused idea bin.

Its been a while since I drew the DMFA cast. Im thinking of doing a couple of pieces this Christmas break.

This will be nothing dirty, sexy but clean...ish.
